🚀 MarketWire | WeMade's Night Crows (나이트 크로우) Cracks Top 10 Revenue

Beautifully crafted game with revenue all coming from a single geo: South Korea

Hello GameMakers,

This week’s MarketWire coming in a little late. I had a hella busy week and made many mistakes as there’s so much work. Remember to give yourself grace for the mistakes you make, especially when doing the work of 3-4 people. Better to move fast and make mistakes than to sit on your ass.

This week we take a quick look at 나이트 크로우 aka Night Crows, from developer WeMade. A game that broke Top 10 Revenue Worldwide last week and all from a single country: South Korea.

Top 10 Charts

  • Monopoly GO cracks Top 10 downloads worldwide.

  • Honkai Star Rail going strong on $$$. Who can compete with HoYoverse?

  • Damn, everybody moved up in downloads this week.

  • There’s a Naruto mobile game?

  • Outlast Trials hits top 10 as another game that exhibits high immersion and emotion.

  • Starship Troopers is a pretty good-looking shooter game.

🔦 Spotlight | 나이트 크로우 aka Night Crows

WeMade’s Night Crows (나이트 크로우) is a beautiful fantasy MMORPG currently only available in South Korea. Despite that, it hit Top 10 Worldwide Revenue… only from South Korea! WTF?

While downloads have slowed, revenue exploded, indicating an extremely strong ARPU for the game.

What in the actual falafel? $166 iPad and over $50 on iPhone in RPD (revenue per download).

You gotta think this is a game that will be coming westward following in the footsteps of Lost Ark and Black Desert Online.

While there are no good English deconstructions of this game, somebody should do one. If you are interested in doing this, please reach out to me!

Here’s a good video that can give you a good feel for the game:
