• Damn, it looks like Scopely is pushing Monopoly: GO pretty hard on downloads.

• Ludo King sits just underneath Monopoly: GO in WW downloads but is getting hella downloads, mainly from India, with a very light download push. India is the download capital of the world!

• It always surprises me to see Evony holding on in top 10 revenue.

• Oh damn, a bunch of new games hit top 10 downloads this past week.

• Metal Slug: Awakening hit both top 10 downloads and revenue. I’m sure it helps that it’s from TiMi Tencent.

Metal Slug: Awakening is a co-development between the world-renowned mobile games studio Tencent Timi and Japanese video games company SNK Playmore.

• Timi are the Honor of Kings/Arena of Valor and Call of Duty Mobile developers.

• SNK owns classic IP franchises like Fatal Fury, Metal Slug, Samurai Showdown, and The King of Fighters, amongst many others.

The game is a Run & Gun Platformer based on the Metal Slug IP. It was originally soft-launched in Indonesia and the Philippines via VNG Games, the Vietnamese mobile game publisher.

More recently, the game was published in China to pretty huge initial success:

As you can see from the Top 10 China charts, the game hit #1 in China downloads and #4 in China revenue.
